Woman carjacked, her car and 8 others damaged

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Terrifying moments for a woman in South Philadelphia overnight.

She was carjacked at about 12:30am along Front and Morris streets.

Police say two young men riding bikes came up to the woman and pointed a gun at her as she was getting out of her car.

Then, they stole the car, and ended up crashing it into eight other cars in West Philadelphia that were parked.

That was at 56th and Springfield. The cars were heavily damaged. The victim was not injured.

Police were able to find the vehicle and also two guns inside it, but the carjackers ran away.
