Woman finds owner of lost necklace with mother's ashes
PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - The owner of a necklace, which contains the ashes of the owner's deceased mother and was found in Philadelphia, has been located.
Aime Corrado-Babe found the necklace, a gold pendant with the word 'Mom' engraved on the front, on the floor of the mosh pit at a Disturbed and Three Days Grace at Wells Fargo Center on Feb. 18.
"If it was anything that was family-related and sentimental, I'd be devastated if I lost it," she told FOX 29.
Corrado-Babe shared photos of the pendant on Facebook in the hopes of finding the necklace's owner.
"If it was mine and I had lost it, I would hope somebody would help me find it again. Good karma I guess never hurts. Doing something good for someone else is always good," she said.
A relative of the necklace's owner called FOX 29 on Saturday and provided the inscription information seen on the back of the pendant. Corrado-Babe verified that the information provided matches the correct inscription information.
The necklace belongs to the caller's soon-to-be stepson, who lost his mother in 2013.
Corrado-Babe confirmed that she is in the process of reuniting the necklace with its owner.
