Wrong-way driver causes deadly chain-reaction crash

A man is charged with intoxication manslaughter for the head-on collision that killed a Grand Prairie woman.

Guillermo Suarez was allegedly drunk on Saturday and behind the wheel of a black SUV. He drove in the wrong direction on Interstate 20 in Duncanville, south of Dallas.

Dash camera video from a nearby truck captured the chain-reaction crash. It shows Suarez's SUV going the wrong way in the far left lane. It sideswipes one car, causing a second crash.

The SUV then hits a black car head on, killing 23-year-old Amberly McCray. Her car hit an 18-wheeler which goes into the median.

Suarez' black SUV bursts into flames. He remains hospitalized.

He was also arrested last year on a DWI charge.
