Youth soccer coach charged with criminal sexual conduct

A youth soccer coach in Warren has been charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct.

A 12-year-old girl was visiting Jason Niemasz's home to hang out with his daughter, whom she had become friends with through soccer. Police received a complaint that the girl was sexually molested by Niemasz while she was at the home in Roseville.

The two girls play with the American Youth Soccer Organization. Niemasz is a volunteer coach with the organization.

Roseville police believe other victims may be out there, and urge anyone who may also be a victim to tell their parents and contact police. If a victim wishes to come forward they are urged to contact their local police department or Roseville Police Detective Jeremy Scicluna at 586-447-4510.

Niemasz is being held in the Macomb County Jail on $100,000 bond. He's due in court later this month.
