1st free Eagles Training Camp has specials for vets

The first free Philadelphia Eagles Training Camp kicks off at 10 a.m. Sunday morning with Military Appreciation Day.

Gates already opened at 8:30 and there will be available for free in lots A, D, G, K, M and N until 10:30am. You can also take SEPTA's Broad Street Subway all the way south to the stadium complex.

According to the team, two kiosks on HeadHouse Plaza will be offering all active and retired military members a voucher for a free hot dog and nonalcoholic beverage. Just present a valid military ID at the kiosks, and then redeem your voucher at any concession stand in the main concourse. Vouchers will be limited to one per valid ID.

Also, a 25 percent discount will be offered to active and retired military members at all Eagles Pro Shop locations inside of Lincoln Financial Field, with valid military ID required.

In addition, after the Military Appreciation practice, pre-selected members of the military will be chosen by the USO to receive jerseys "off the backs" of Eagles players. Other designated military members will have the chance to participate in a post-practice flag football game on the field. These unique experiences will be offered to specific military members, designated by the USO prior to practice
