Former Philadelphia Eagles player Jon Dorenbos gets puppy named Saint

Former Philadelphia Eagles player Jon Dorenbos has a new addition to his family-- a puppy named Saint.

Earlier this year, Philadelphia Eagles long snapper was traded to the New Orleans Saints in a 7th round pick. That trade may have saved his life after a team doctor discovered he had an aortic aneurysm. He underwent surgery at UPenn in September. He was later released from the Saints.

Dorenbos took to Facebook Monday announcing that he got a puppy. "Can't wait for tomorrow - @saintthedoodle (follow him now on Instagram) is coming home. So pumped to finally hug him."
