Girl power! High school kicker stops return

Meet Kelly Macnamara. This North Penn High School kicker can hold her own on the grid iron. Take for instance the Knights' Saturday's game.

Macnamara tweeted out the play after the game against Central Bucks East

She shut down a big return play down the sideline by popping the returner out of bounds.

McNamara, who is in her second season, told her high school newspaper last season that she started on the soccer field like many prep kickers.

"I heard the previous kicker had graduated and I thought I'd give it a shot," McNamara told The Knight Crier.

The Knights went on to win the game 33-14, moving them to 7-0 for the season.
