Reports: Eagles to sign former Jaguars DT Malik Jackson

The Philadelphia Eagles are already active as the NFL's Legal Tampering period opened Monday morning, ahead of the start of the new league year later this week.

ESPN's Josina Anderson reports the Eagles are expected to sign former Jacksonville Jaguars defensive tackle Malik Jackson. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports the deal could be worth $30 million over three years.

Jackson, 29, finished last season with 3.5 sacks. The Denver Broncos selected him in the fifth round of the 2012 draft.

The reported agreement comes just a few days after the Eagles declined to pick of defensive tackle Tim Jernigan's option for 2019.
