Weather Authority: A chilly start to the week for most of the region

The blustery wind gusts that helped make temperatures feel even colder over the last several days will die down on Sunday, but conditions will remain cold and cloudy to wrap up the holiday weekend. 

Peru struck by magnitude-7.5 earthquake, USGS says

The quake occurred at 5:52 a.m. (1052 GMT) and its epicenter was in the Amazon region, 42 kilometers (26 miles) north northwest of the city of Barranca. It had a magnitude of 7.5, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Weather Authority: Sunny and seasonable Thanksgiving ahead for region

Calm and sunny conditions with seasonably cool temperatures is forecasted for the Delaware Valley on Thanksgiving ahead of a frigid change in the weather pattern to mark the unofficial start of the holiday shopping season. 

Weather Authority: Cold conditions linger into Wednesday; Thanksgiving Day looks pleasant

Folks should expect a cold overnight Tuesday, with lows dipping into the 20’s. Wednesday expect temperatures to stay below average with highs in the mid to upper 40s.
