Weather Authority: Below average temps Thursday, cold weekend ahead

PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - An already chilly week will only be getting colder as we start to look toward the weekend.

Thursday's high of just 40 degrees is about eight degrees below our annual average, but things will at least be staying dry!

Friday will bring more of the same with another high of 40 degrees. Once we get to the weekend we can expect temperatures to get even colder.

Saturday's high will only be in the mid-30s for the Army-Navy game at Lincoln Financial Field.

Sunday will be a little cloudier with a high of just 38.
