Weather Authority: Cooler temperatures on the way; chance of showers

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - The FOX 29 Weather Authority is tracking cooler temperatures and a chance of rain in your weekend forecast. It's a busy weekend for the Philadelphia area with the MS Walk, Cinco De Mayo and the Broad Street Run.

A cold front will move in Friday night with the risk of scattered storms. High temperatures will be in the 70s for Saturday and temperatures will drop down into the 60s for Sunday. The Broad Street Run will be cloudy with a few light showers possible.

According to FOX 29's Scott Williams, the weekend won't be a washout, but the best chance of rain will be Saturday night into early Sunday morning.
