Weather Authority: Last day of summer to be sunny, warm

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - While we continue to track the storms in the tropics, Thursday should be quite a pleasant day in the Philadelphia area as we officially say goodbye to summer.

Expect a decent amount of sunshine through the day, although, Jose may throw some clouds in our direction this afternoon for a short period of time.

Thursday marks the official end of summer, and it will be feeling quite summery with a high of 86 degrees.

The first few days of fall will also feel a bit like summer with highs in the 80s and hopefully no rain in sight until next week.

Saturday: Sunny and warm, high of 84

Sunday: Summery Sunday (Go Eagles), high of 88

Monday: Sunny and warm, high of 88

Tuesday: Chance of showers, high of 83
