Weather Authority: Rain to continue on and off through Thursday

The Delaware Valley is in for quite an unsettled day Thursday with rain to fall on and off through the morning and afternoon.

Parts of the area could see an inch or even two inches of rain, leading to some ponding on roadways and localized flooding.

The heaviest rainfall is expected to come in the afternoon.

Down the shore, some areas could see minor coastal flooding with a full moon and high tide later tonight.

Temperatures will hover around the 40s and low 50s Thursday, with more of the same on Friday. Once today's system moves out, some showers and blustery winds will linger Friday.
