12-year-old boy shot in Kingsessing, police say
PHILADELPHIA - A child was hospitalized after a shooting occurred in Kingsessing on Monday.
Police are investigating a shooting that happened at the 5700 block of Kingsessing Avenue at around 3:31 p.m.
They say a 12-year-old male was shot once in his right thigh while inside the kitchen at the home where the incident took place.

Police transported the victim to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where he was placed in stable condition.
Three men are being held for investigation, police say.
No weapons were recovered at the scene of the incident.
