9 dead, 25 unaccounted for in California warehouse party fire

(Fox News) - Oakland fire officials say at least nine people died in a fire that broke out at a warehouse where people were having a party, according to reports Saturday.

Several news outlets reported that another 25 people were unaccounted for.

The station reported that Oakland firefighters responded to the three-alarm fire at the warehouse about 11:30 p.m. local time Friday and were still on the scene Saturday morning.

Firefighters told the station there were about 50 people inside the building in Oakland's Fruitvale district.
