Authorities: Egg Harbor City man led child pornography network

MAYS LANDING, N.J. (WTXF) - Atlantic County officials announced child pornography charges against an Egg Harbor City man.

Friday, March 23, members of the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force arrested 49-year-old Joseph McCormick. McCormick has been charged with distribution of child pornography, possession of child pornography, leader of a child pornography network, among other related charges.

The search warrant was executed March 20 at McCormick's residence.

Investigators say the charge of leader of a child pornography network is a new charge in the state of New Jersey. It is the first time the charged is being used in Atlantic County.
