Aviation officer: United passenger removed was verbally, physically abusive

CHICAGO (AP) - It was an ugly incident when a Chicago Department of Aviation officer dragged a physician from his seat off a United Airlines flight in Chicago, earlier this month.

It said the passenger pulled out of his seat, Dr. David Dao, was verbally and physically abusive, and flailing his arms before he lost his balance and struck his mouth on an armrest.
