Bear cub climbs ladder to reunite with mother

Vilas County, W.I. - A bear cub in Wisconsin wasn't going to let anything get in the way of it reunited with its mother, even though it had become trapped in a construction area.
Dave Walz, a warden supervisor at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource thought he was done with work for the day when he received a phone call from the Vilas County Sheriff's office in Wisconsin.
The sheriff asked Walz to help rescue a curious bear cub who had found itself in a newly constructed open basement.

The department said Walz, with help from the homeowner, used a ladder to help the cub escape and reunite with its mother who watched from afar.
