Boy,15, shot in the arm after multiple shots fired at home

Police are looking for who is responsible for shooting multiple shots at a home in North Philadelphia.

Police responded to the 1200th block of N Taney Street where 8 bullets were reportedly shot at a home early Thursday morning.

Police say a 15-year-old boy was struck with a bullet in his arm while he was sitting with his brother and friend on the first floor when someone started firing at the home. He was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition. The victim's mother was also home at the time, and no other injuries were reported.

Multiple bullets were lodged in the wall and front door. Eight large caliber shell casings were found on the sidewalk in front of the house. Police have reason to believe the shots were intentional.

Anyone with any information about the shooting is asked to contact police immediately.
