Car crashes through front of fitness center in Frankford

FRANKFORD (WTXF) - One person was injured after a car crashed into a fitness center in Frankford early Thursday morning.

The crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. at the Blink Fitness on the 5500 block of Tulip Street.

FOX 29's Bob Kelly reports a car drove through the front of the building, breaking through the front windows. SKYFOX was over the scene as crews surveyed the damage after the car had been removed from the business.

Authorities say one person was taken to the hospital following the crash. No further injuries have been reported.
