Child struck by a vehicle in very serious condition, police say

THORNBURY TOWNSHIP, Pa. (WTXF) - Police in Delaware County are investigating a report of a child struck in Thornbury Township.

Pennsylvania State Police say a 9-year-old child was struck by a motor vehicle a little after 5:30 p.m. February 1 on Thornton Road. The child was airlifted to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in very serious condition.

According to Penn. State Troopers on-scene, the vehicle involved did stop. State Police were conducting interviews.
