Country music star posts graphic photos showing horrific rattlesnake bite

(WTXF) - A country music star is speaking out about the dangers of rattlesnakes after coming across one in his shed last week.

Kevin Fowler posted photos of both the rattlesnake he encountered as well as a horrific rattlesnake bite on his Facebook page on Saturday. The photos showed his friend Tommy's hand after he was bit last year.

Fowler's caption accompanying the photos struck back at "rattlesnake sympathizers."

"All of you people who cry about folks killing rattlesnakes have probably never seen what it looks like when you get bit by one," he wrote.

"All of you rattlesnake sympathizers will change your tune when your kid gets bit playing in your backyard."

According to Fowler, Tommy is still going through surgeries and rehab for his hand despite a year passing since he was bitten.
