Formerly conjoined twins from Bucks County thriving post-surgery

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Desiree Hall is the mother of six children ranging in age from 10 weeks to 10 years.

When she first saw an ultrasound image showing conjoined fetuses in her womb, she didn't know if her twins would get to meet their big sisters and brothers Carl, Gabi, Dom and Justina.

Vinny and Joey were born 10 weeks early on January 5, 2018 and were attached from the sternum to the belly button.

By February 20, Vinny and Joey were strong enough to be separated at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

On March 8, the medical team gave Desiree the news she had been waiting to hear -- her boys could go home.

The family joined Good Day Philadelphia Monday to share their story.
