A man on a motorcycle was killed just before 11:30pm Tuesday. Now, as police look for the driver Wednesday, they say they have the SUV that did it, plus surveillance video and a witness.

The crash happened in Feltonville, at the corner of Loudon Street and Whitaker Avenue.

Police say the silver 2000 GMC Yukon made a left turn into the motorcycle's path, and that launched 58-year-old Raul Perez 30 feet down the road.

They found Perez lying unconscious there. He was taken to the hospital but died.

But police say the SUV driver took off. They think they found the SUV nearby -- in the 5000 block of Rorer Street -- with heavy front end damage, both airbags deployed, and a trail of fluid from the scene of the tragedy to where they found it.

They add the SUV had no license plate, so there's a possibility the driver took it off to avoid being captured.

They're holding it as evidence. They're also looking through surveillance video and say they have a witness.
