Hundreds protest pastor who publicly supported Orlando gunman

The California pastor caught on video giving a sermon in support of the Orlando gunman is being challenged.

Sunday, hundreds of protesters surrounded the entrance to his Verity Baptist Church in California.

Pastor Roger Jimenez allegedly gave a sermon in which he said he wished the Orlando shooter had killed more "sodomites."

He was seen on YouTube asking his Sacramento congregation, "Are you sad that 50 pedophiles were killed today? Um - no - I think that's great! I think that helps society. I think Orlando, Florida, is a little safer tonight."

The protest video was actually shared by a city council member who participated.

Jimenez, according to local reports, also said in the sermon that "There's no tragedy, I wish the government would round them all up, put them up against a firing wall, put a firing squad in front of them, and blow their brains out."
