On Wednesday, the user posted a series of pictures explaining a day in the life of his German Shepherd.

On this particular day, the poster explains that the dog is sick, and he continues to grow tired.

He includes pictures of the dog resting in his favorites place as he grows more and more tired.

The slideshow leads viewers to believe the end is near for the dog, especially with the second to last pictured captioned "I was a good dog."

The last slide finally reveals the joke with a photo of a healthy dog and the caption, "And I still am, I woke up feeling much better."
