Joe Biden returns to Delaware for gun safety bill signing

NEWARK, Del. (WTXF) - Joe Biden returns to Delaware Monday for the signing of a new law aimed at gun safety.

The legislation titled the 'Beau Biden Gun Violence Prevention Act' restricts access to guns for those who are believed to be a danger to themselves and others.

The former vice president is slated to meet with Gov. John Carney at the University of Delaware for the signing at 1 p.m.

Biden represented Delaware as a U.S. Senator from 1973 to 2009.
