Kittens rescued after being used as pit bull bait

One kitten has died and another is fighting down the road to recovery after they were rescued from being used as pit bull bait last week.

According to a GoFundMe page for the two 6-week-old kittens, Will and Grace, they were brought into a veterinary clinic in Benecia, California on October 13.

The page states that they had their limbs bound by rubberbands so they would not be able to scratch the dogs or try to get away.

Initially, there was hope for both of the kittens to survive and make a full recovery, but unfortunately Grace died from her injuries.

Will is currently with a foster family, but the page says that he has a long road to recovery ahead of him, and his medical care costs are expected to be high.

Animal control are investigating the situation and are searching to find whoever abused the two kittens.
