Man suffers 2 broken legs when car hits pole

HARTRANFT (WTXF) - A man suffered two broken legs but was able to get out of his car after an overnight crash in North Philadelphia's Hartranft section.

It happened before 3am Sunday.

Police say the driver lost control of his car while heading south on 11th Street and crashed into a pole at W. Susquehanna Avenue.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to recover.

The car was heavily damaged.
