Meth lab seized from Montgomery County apartment; 4 in custody

Four individuals are in custody after evidence of a meth lab was seized from a Montgomery County apartment Wednesday morning.

Officials arrived on the scene at Rolling Hills Apartments around 3 a.m., closing off Buchert Road in Sanatoga.

"A clandestine laboratory for the manufacture of illegal drugs and/or hazardous chemicals was seized at this location," read a Pennsylvania State Police warning posted to the apartment door.

Four people inside the apartment were detained by police. Criminal charges are pending further investigation.

The apartment has since been condemned as a result of the contamination from the chemicals used in the alleged manufacturing operation.
