Military Dad Surprises Kids on Christmas Shopping Trip

If there's one thing to make you weepy this Christmas, it's homecoming videos.

And one video in particular is capturing hearts on Facebook since being uploaded on December 17.

All they wanted for Christmas was for their Dad to come home. Yesterday, they got their wish inside an Academy store.

Vince Cammarano from Abilene, Texas, surprised his ecstatic children and wife Erica while they were on a shopping trip in Academy Sports and Outdoors.

Cammarano is an All Air Force Major who is on leave from overseas deployment, according to Abilene Reporter-News.

The publication reports that he hadn't seen his family in seven months.

Cammarano was filmed walking around the store before turning the corner to where he knew his family were checking out a bike and asking them if they need help.

The soldier's youngest children immediately rush into his arms, while the oldest appears to be too shocked to really let the news sink in, simply saying, "Daddy, you're home."

The video has been viewed over two million times on Facebook since being posted by Academy Sports and Outdoors on December 17.
