Philadelphia Police release sketch of violent sex assault suspect

Philadelphia Police are investigating a violent sexual assault in Northeast Philadelphia that occurred earlier this week.

The incident occurred in Wednesday night as a woman walked along the 2800 block of Rhawn Street late that night.

Police say a man came up behind the 22-year-old victim, covering her mouth and forcing her into the woods. That's when police say the man duct taped her mouth and cuffed her wrists to her ankles before physically and sexually assaulting her.

Investigators have now released a sketch of the suspect, who is described as a black male standing six feet tall and weighing between 250-300 lbs. He also has light brown air, a scruffy beard with brown eyes and a heart tattoo, and is believed to be in his 30's.

Police say the suspect has a heart tattoo with tribal symbols on his chest, and he also has crooked front teeth.
