PHOTO: Young Girl Gives Police Officer a Guardian Bear

GULFPORT, MI (WTXF/STORYFUL) - A Mississippi police officer shared a touching moment he experienced when a little girl gave him a teddy bear to help keep him safe.

Officer Josh McConnell posted about the moment on Facebook, along with the photo of the bear, and wrote that he struggled to keep his voice from cracking as he thanked the girl, who was from Texas.

The little girl's mother informed McConnell that there was a law enforcement officer in the family, which is why the little girl wanted to share her bear for safe wishes.
