Police search for man after a reported church burglary

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police are looking for a man they said robbed a church in North Philadelphia.

The incident happened back on July 31 around 11:45 p.m. when a man gained entry to the First Church Worship Center located at 2509 North 30th Street in North Philadelphia.

Officials say the man broke a stain glass window to gain entry and searched different offices upstairs before leaving with a red duffel bag and fled in an unknown direction.

Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact police.
