Questions about 2 shootings at same time on same street

Police are trying to figure out whether two late night shootings, on the same North Philadelphia street at the same time, are related.

First, at about 11pm Wednesday, a barrage of bullets came through the living room window of a home in the 5900 block of N. 21st Street.

A woman in her late 20s was shot in her right shoulder. There were seven other people in the home, including five kids between the ages of five and 15, but they were not wounded.

Then, a man in his 50s, standing on the street corner, was also shot in his thigh at the same time.

Both victims are in the hospital in stable condition.

Investigators say the shots were intentionally fired into the house, but don't know the intended target.

No arrests have been made, and there's no word yet whether the two shootings are connected.
