Tucson Police Department warn against holiday shopping ‘Grinch'
TUCSON, AZ (WTXF) - An Arizona police department got creative in warning residents not to let a 'Grinch' ruing their holiday this year.
The video posted by the Tucson Police Department focuses on thefts from cars, and warns shoppers to make sure their car doors are locked during the holiday season.
The video shows one of their officers dressed up as the Grinch, going from car to car seeing if the doors are unlocked. In one of the cars, a uniformed officer explains the importance of locking your car, putting your valuables in the trunk, or carrying your items with you during the holidays.
The department also asked that people shop with friends and family when possible, and urged shoppers to 'say something' is they see something suspicious.
