VIDEO: Golden Retriever comforts rescue horse

(STORYFUL) - A pair of unlikely friends won hearts on the internet after an adorable video of them bonding was shared to Facebook on August 6.

The video, shared by Carolina Equine Rescue & Assistance, shows 3-year-old Golden Retriever Molly cuddling with rescue horse Sammy.

According to the post Molly "loves everyone including all the animals we have on the farm. She especially loves the minis she can reach them much easier."

It also states that Sammy was "scared" and "nothing but skin and bones" when he came to the shelter, but thankfully Molly was there to offer him some comfort and support.
