WATCH: Good Samaritan helps man in wheelchair caught in rainstorm

NOVA SCOTIA (WTXF/STORYFUL) - A YouTuber in Canada may restore your faith in humanity after capturing video of a man in need getting help from a Good Samaritan.

Penelope Derksen shared the video on Monday, showing a man in an electric wheel chair caught in a rainstorm.

Even with his rain jacket on, the man wasn't prepared to break down in the middle of the road during a torrential downpour and lightning storm.

Derksen says a passing motorist noticed the man in the wheelchair had become stuck, and parked his car. He then got out and pushed the man approximately two feet uphill.

Derksen writes, "Thanks for people who renew our beliefs. It is heart warming."
