WATCH: Murder suspect reaches for officer's gun in police station

CINCINNATI, OH (WTXF) - Surveillance video captured the moments a man arrested on a murder charger attempted to grab a gun from an officer inside a police station.

Investigators say Cincinnati officers were processing 23-year -old Thomas Robinson at the criminal investigation section for the murder of a 17-year-old one week ago.

Officials say as one officer was working to change Robinson's handcuffs, when Robinson can be seen springing backwards and trying to pull the officer's gun out of the holster.

Officers quickly swarmed in to help, deploying tasers.

The fight for the weapon lasted about 13-seconds before police forced Robinson to the ground with a stun gun.
