11-Year Old Girl Shot While Walking Home From School

HUNTING PARK (WTXF) - Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting in the Hunting Park section of the city Monday afternoon.

Officers responded to a shooting in the 700 block of W. Luzerne St. They tell FOX 29 that an 11-year old Hispanic girl was shot, one time in the right foot, while walking home from school.

The shooter appears to be Black male wearing a black skull cap, a black shirt with a brown dragon print on the front.

The victim was taken to St. Christopher's Children's Hospital and placed in stable condition.

Police remain on scene. However, the suspect remains unfound.
