2 dead after triple shooting in Kensington; survivor considered person of interest

Just after 3 a.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of East Tioga Street, where a 32-year-old woman was found shot in the arm. The woman told police she had been shot at F and Ontario streets. She is expected to be okay.

When police arrived to the scene of the alleged shooting, they found an Acura hatchback with its engine running, Inside was a woman slumped over in the driver's seat with a gunshot wound to the head. A man was found in the hatchback with a gunshot wound to the torso. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

The man was later identified as 40-year-old Efrain Gonzales-Rivera, of Wilmington. The woman was later identified as 30-year-old Stephanie Rann, of Newark.

Investigators say ballistic evidence leads them to believe shots were fired from inside the vehicle.

Officers also recovered narcotics and a syringe from inside the car.

The 32-year-old woman shot in the arm is being considered a person of interest, as she reportedly never told police that other people were shot. Police have called her level of cooperation "questionable."
