24-year-old man critical after shooting in Tioga; weapons recovered: police

A 24-year-old man is fighting for his life after police say a shooting occurred in Philadelphia’s Tioga section Sunday night. 

According to police, the shooting occurred on the 2100 block of Bellevue Street at around 7:51 p.m.

Upon arrival, police say a 24-year-old man was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds throughout his upper body. 

He was transported to Temple University Hospital by police, where he was placed in critical condition. 

Two guns were recovered at the scene and police say two men are being held for further investigation.
