Adorable 10-Month Old Sees Life Through New Eyes

BRIDGETOWN, OH (WTXF) - Piper Sinclair had trouble seeing and video of the 10-month old has the internet in awe!

Hesitant to put anything on her face, Piper was ecstatic after her mother Jessica, donned her baby girl in pink-glasses and realized her vision became clearer.

Piper has astigmatism, which means that one of her eyes is not a perfect sphere, the shape of a normal eye ball.

Diagnosed by a thorough eye exam, doctors made an easy fix by assigning their patients contact lenses or eyeglasses.

"We started to notice that she was having issues reaching her milestone of crawling," Jessica told TIME. "So at her regular pediatric check they did an eye screening and saw that she might have had a slight astigmatism."

Now that her baby can see clearly, the Bridgetown, Ohio resident stressed that she would love to spread awareness about the importance of eye health and getting infants eyes checked.
