Here's everything you need to know about the historic launch.
What time is the Artemis II launch?
Timeline:
The launch window opens at 6:24 p.m. Wednesday, but will stay open for two hours, meaning Artemis II could launch any time between then and 8:24 p.m. If the weather doesn't cooperate, the launch will be scrapped and rescheduled for a later date. Though as of 1 p.m., officials say there's an 80% chance they'll be cleared for liftoff during the launch window.
Can you see the Artemis II launch from Philadelphia?
Stargazers will be looking to the sky Wednesday night in hopes of seeing the historic launch, but the odds of seeing the crew blast off into space go down the further north you get from Florida.

According to NASA, most of Florida and some cities in south Georgia have the best chance of seeing the Artemis II rocket.
But what about further north, like Philadelphia or New Jersey?
Previous launches from Cape Canaveral, like SpaceX's Atlas V launch in March, were seen as far north as New Jersey, according to some reports. But, with scattered showers in the forecast across much of the Philly area Wednesday evening, even if the rocket were visible, the weather likely means you won't see anything.
