Daycare Where Infant Died Closed By Health Department

The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services has ordered the closure of a a daycare in North Philadelphia.

The decision came down after a child died there Thursday, and the tragic case that has had much of the city talking.

Police are calling the baby's death suspicious.

Sisters Childcare was shut down Thursday after a ten-month old baby girl died Wednesday.

The cause of death remains unknown.

Meanwhile, state documents revealed more than two dozen problems with the day care including improper worker training and background checks.

Additionally, staffers were reported to be working with too many children, not knowing their names, and even yelling at the kids in front of inspectors.

The investigation into the child's death is ongoing.
