Erroneous typo costs $900K for Pennsbury School District

A business administrator at the Pennsbury School District made a typo which is costing the school district nearly $900,000.

In June, the adminstrator wrote the millage rate for the school year incorrectly and the mistake wasn't caught until after tax bills were mailed according to the published reports.

Homeowners aren't complaining beause it's saving them about $32 in property taxes.

Sixteen schools in the district are affected.
