4 people injured in Olney shooting; Man shot to death at Royal Farms
One person is in custody after four people were injured during a shooting in Olney; a man was shot and killed at Royal Farms in Frankford.
PHILADELPHIA - A garage party in Olney left several people injured early Monday morning, including a teenager who was detained by police.
What we know:
Police responded to the 500 block of Clarkson Avenue following reports of gunfire. According to investigators, an argument at the gathering escalated, leading to shots being fired.
Three men were taken to a local hospital by private vehicle, and are said to be in stable condition:
- A 34-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to the right arm.
- A 30-year-old man sustained two gunshot wounds to his left leg.
- A 34-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound to his left thigh.
A 16-year-old boy was also shot in the leg. He was placed in stable condition and detained by police.
Stray bullets struck at least one home and a vehicle in the immediate area. Three 9mm FCCs, five 40 caliber FCCs, eight 40 caliber live rounds and a firearm were recovered from the scene.
