A Navy veteran called out a stranger who rushed to judgment by leaving a harsh note on her car's windshield after parking in a spot reserved for veterans.
Rebecca Hayes noticed the note after pulling away from the local supermarket. She expected it to say that someone had hit her car, not the message that read, "This parking is for Veterans, lady. Learn to read and have some respect."
Hayes, who served the Navy for eight years, told WBTV that reading the note made her break down in tears.
She issued her "apology" to the stranger on Facebook.
