Hoax letter claimed drug lord El Chapo threatened war on ISIS

FOX NEWS - Mexican drug lord Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzman apparently didn't threaten to wage war on ISIS, as a letter claimed. That letter turned out to be a hoax, according to Daily Mail Online.

Earlier, other reports claimed that El Chapo was furious that ISIS destroyed several of his Sinaloa Cartel's drug shipments moving through the Middle East.

A harshly worded email to ISIS was posted on the website Cartel Blog had Guzmán sending a stark warning to ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al Baghdadi about messing with the cartel's business. But Mail Online said that the writer of the email told the publication that it was a hoax.
