Husband Cheers Up Wife By Writing Why He Loves Her on a Mirror

WTXF - Molly Murphy suffers from depression. When she recently returned to her Los Angeles home after a trip to San Francisco her husband, Tim Murphy, had undertaken an uncommon gesture to make her feel better: He had written "15 Reasons I love my wife" on their mirror.

The story went viral after Molly posted it to Imgur, and was picked up by the Daily Mail.

Molly made clear in the Imgur message that romantic gestures by a partner are in no way a "cure" for depression or other mental illness. She also gave advice to those whose partners or other loved ones suffer: "Show them kindness and remind them things can and WILL get better. Everyone needs a little help sometimes."
